Perhaps the thread would make more sense elsewhere on FT. Starting the thread in the UA forum will by necessity limit participation to a specific set of viewpoints.

Let's remember that the original question read, "curious to know if people like the booking apps currently available". I never intended to limit it to UA.
However, as some have noted, UA already has a very robust app. And I made the choice to pose the question to subset of individuals who arguably already have a good tool to use.

Some ideas…
- Ability to see pricing for multiple fare classes at once (e.g. F vs. P vs. M)
- Ability to link a companion on separate reservation for E+/CPU/Premier Access
- Check out with Apple Pay
- Ability to book one reservation and standby for a preferred alternative
- in-app live chat with 1k desk so I don’t have to call
