Flight route maps and timetables
I've used innosked.com extensively to map routes and find flights. It is invaluable to me to find a route backwards: When I know where I want to go, it helps me to understand from where there are connections. And in turn, this helps me to find some good routes I can punch into matrix.
Innosked powers many airlines' and also both Star alliance and oneworld's route map services. For instance onw.innosked.com. Now they all point to a new similar service hosted at fltmaps.com, example dl.fltmaps.com, starmap.fltmaps.com, lh.fltmaps.com My problem is this - this new map is very slow and not as nifty to work with. Like many refreshes of web sites and services, it has (perhaps) become better looking at the cost of usability. Does anyone know what has happened with the older innosked service? And does anyone know of another service where it is possible to build an itinerary of connections with in the alliances? |
Old post, but helpful. Are there others out there?
