Would love feedback on new booking technology.

Just put this project together. Looking for feedback.

ZenFlyer.co

Here is how it works:
When you signup, you enter your preferences and credit card.

Then:
1. Send an email to [email protected] saying "I want to go to NYC for the weekend."
2. They get an email with two options. Both custom based on your preferences.
3. Click one. booked.

Thoughts?

Very interesting - and welcome to Flyertalk. I've moved your thread to the travel tools forum where it will be with the right audience. Thanks!

It's an interesting idea, and it may have an audience, but I'm guessing that experienced travelers like FTers isn't it. There are just too many variables to make a choice of 2 trips sufficient, even with preferences set.

For example, if based on my email, you look for flights on a specific airline departing at 6 pm and returning at noon. If you find outbound flights at 5 and 7, and returns at 11 and 1, that's already 4 combinations. Add in variables like a less preferred airline with a cheaper flight, and there's a hard-to-quantify judgement call, I might take that to save $100s, but not to save only $20. Many here look at seat maps, chances of upgrades clearing, aircraft type, lots of subjective factors that lead to us making our choice.
