ITA software - a) advanced functionalities? b) problem with KVS tool
 

I first learned about ITA matrix sometime after I joined FT in 1999. Around that time, there were some FT links (which I think have long disappeared) which among other things, gave hints to do specialized searches - ie perhaps airline specific, fare specific, perhaps route specific (with certain stops). I really do not know how to this now? Is there a FAQ section or a how to? section on the ITA, or on FT, or somewhere else.

I do have the KVS tool, but when I enter a certain fare on certain airline for a certain route, and after clicking on the ITA link, I am transferred to the ITA web site, but the web site is more or less frozen. When I go to the ITA web site directly, I do not observe this problem.
