I highly recommend flightdiary.net.

Didn't love flightmemory as much.

Cool, thanks. In fact, that is the one I chose though it was hit or miss for many of the flights I entered from the past for even Delta/United (Thai and Emirates all good) so maybe flight numbers change or something...anyway I realize I should have spent more time "searching" but the recommendation (by those in the know) so quickly just seemed to save me a bunch of time. Thanks for the responses. Seems great so far....and a project to go fill in missing details because the stats seem cool to track!! Cheers!

I was about to say the exact opposite. IMHO entering the information into Flight Diary is really annoying, where flight memory is much easier to fill out. Granted the graphics/ map are in serious need of a upgrade but I still prefer Flightmemory.

Is there a service that tracks the real flight path for each flight rather than the great circle arc path?

Out of curiosity do you know how these sites get their data? is there like an open data api somewhere? or is it some form of subscription data?

Looks like flightdiary has become part of flightradar24.com, yes? (my.flightradar24.com). Seems kind of hidden on their site.

Do any of these sites have a good mobile version to allow entry of data from a phone?

..so is there a consensus among you veteran flight loggers as to what the "best" logger is? Has logmyflight.net proved itself and one of the best? Or are there other good contenders? I'm just looking for the best 2 or 3 to choose from. Thanks

I'm all about

https://my.flightradar24.com

for a few years now, ever since they took over from FlightDiary. I really like the map and the stats.

Do any of these, or any others allow you to see the route taken by that flight specifically once you log it? From what I can tell from the my.flightradar one and others it just joins a line between the two airports.
Thanks

I’m giving FlightRadar24 a try. Imported my OpenFlights archive but none of the aircraft type came over. Did I miss something?
