ITA Matrix Search: http://matrix.itasoftware.com
You can sometimes see flights, fares and detailed fare rules that may not be reflected on an airline's website. Please read the thread for some tips and tricks, screen shots, etc.
A related thread, ITA-Matrix-PowerTools - Userscript for Orbitz/DL/UA/AA/BA/CZ/IB/LA/LH/LX/TK, discusses a user script which is maintained by fellow flyertalk members to enhance the already powerful Matrix of ITA Software by providing new features and booking links.
Additional details and tips on the use of ITA's advanced routing code feature can be found in the following long-standing Mileage Run Discussion threads:

I got a fare via Matrix but called the airline/tried multiple OTAs and can't get it to show up. I reckon that it's a married segment issue that's been discussed previously.
Is this just a limitation/bug of Matrix or is there some way to actually get the trip to price out as shown on Matrix?

In google flights (or other OTAs like Expedia), you'll need to visit their webpage in the country you want fares from: for example, Google.co.uk .
AFAIK, multiple POS queries not possible within a single search.

I did a search on ITA for flights in late March (calendar search). I did the same search using GF. The results were startlingly different (and not for the good).
ITA search criteria: one pax, rt, 8-10 nights, no advanced codes, default settings
GF search criteria: one pax, rt, default settings
Attached are the results of each search. Any ideas as to why ITA's search returned such a big price difference?

I thought that as well, yet I was able to get all the way to "Purchase" on the United website (I chose a United N/S outbound rather than the Hainan choice). The price for the United flight was $668.

IIRC, capacity issues. I hadn't seen this for some time, but I've been getting it over the last few days too. If you search this thread for the word Boombox, you'll see some of the past episodes of this problem.

Hello!
I'm trying to combine two working Advance Routing Codes but I don't know how?
I want to search Air Canada only, in specific booking classes, excluding certain aircraft types.
I have:
and
which both work independently but how do you combine?

Find it quite annoying that the standard setting under Extra Stopps is set to 'up to 1 extra stop'.
I tend to forget to change it from time to time and then wondering I'm not getting any result for another one of ridiculously complicated itineraries.
Excuse my little rant
