I believe he charges $250 for two tickets and doesn't charge if he can't deliver. He's a good guy and you would do well to contact him.
Gary announced today that he is exiting the award booking space. He suggests that people contact Point.me.

I expect that the wiki is quite badly out of date. I've just deleted entries for Gary, Ben Ben Schlappig, and Juicy Miles, all of whom are now parties in Point.me. Should anyone have time to go thru the wiki and delete those who no longer provide award booking services, it would be much appreciated.

Respectfully I’m hesitant to edit anything (possibly) written by a Moderator or Community Director but since it was requested… Wiki edited to add Award Expert - (MatthewLAX on FT, Live and Let's Fly blog), old entry (Upgrd Awards (404 Error Page not found.) deleted. Hope I got the alphabetical thing correct, been a long time since I studied the alphabet !

Any paid award booking sites recommended? Knoxville to Maldives using Chase Rewards

Hi all, I have a vacation package to Maldives I got a good deal on. I have 1.3m Chase Points to figure out airfare (business class or first preferred) My dates are flexible insomuch that I need to spend 8 nights there between beginning of March 2023 and mid-march (best weather).

I live near Knoxville TN. I can drive to NY if needed. Looking for a booking site that can help take my Chase points and make magic happen to get award tickets on like Quatar or Emirates (suites, cabins, business class etc.)

Anyone have any experience or recommendations with these kind of sites?

I am open to trying to do it myself, but when i tried - i became quickly overwhelmed.

Do you have UR points from the CSR? If so, you can book the best flights available on almost any airline and get a 50% discount on the points. Call in to Chase Travel.

These are by far the best (I've used several) and reasonable. Even better, read their free course for some amazing tips on how to do this, and join their wonderfully helpful facebook group.'

Question Award Booking Services

Hi there. First time poster here. With all the changes with aware mileage, etc. it's become super overwhelming to use award mileage to travel. Are there award booking services that people recommend that do the work for you to get the best bang for your mile? Trying to use AAdvantage miles, but the award flights that I'm finding are just insane. Thanks in advance for your help!

Yes there are award booking services. Some are quite good.

But the real value of those services is telling you how to do credit card points --> some frequent flyer program you'd never thought of --> award flights in a premium cabin.

If AA miles are all you really have, then it's all about flexibility regarding dates and location. An award booking service can't really make award seats appear out of nowhere.

Hi all, I have just reached out to Jasper2009 via their website. On a sidenote, does anyone have any recommendation for point "mentoring" service and build up points for very specific award redemption goals?

For this reason, we participate in two separate programs: AAdvantage, because when DH was traveling a LOT for business, he was allowed to use our own card and get reimbursed. So he ended up a lifetiime million-miler elite member from spend alone (no longer possible), from all the hotels and restaurants.
He was using AAdvantage because he was a member of AA then, and we thought the travel miles would be helpful. But the spend is what gets us the points for travel.

And from ages ago, we've had Amex.

Each of those has their own group of network partners, and there's not too much overlap. Between the two networks, we have access to almost any airline we'd want to use.

And the awards services (Jasper, in our case) has on occasion come up with unexpected routing or airlines to get us where we want to go, when we want to go. We probably would never have thought to investigate some of those.

And of course, it's very helpful if one can be flexible a day or two outbound and return.

Alas, we haven't gone anywhere again since the before times.... yet...

He tends to respond very promptly, and especially if there is something pending with some time urgency.
I don't remember how long it took for a reply from the first inquiry, but I have no recollection of starting to "wonder", etc.

We recently returned from a NZ-Australia cruise. Getting there and back was really tricky. I've heard that's one of the most difficult for Business or First. And... this was an almost last minute decision, especially compared with the usual 1 year.
But he found some wonderful flights for us, and on airlines we preferred, and especially, not on airlines we did *not* prefer. That was wonderful on relatively short notice.

He's also a regular travel agent. So now we also have him book our cruises and most of our hotels. (He can get perks that are very similar to Amex Plat, but not identical. He's part of a different luxury network, etc.)

Enjoy your travels!

GeezerCouple - Is there a direct contact for Jasper2009 you might be able to PM? I used the website in the signature haven’t heard anything back. Thanks!

Can anyone advise me re using Star Alliance to book two Business Class tickets from London to Los Angeles using Airmiles that were gifted to me with Aegean Frequent Flyer programme. I am a complete novice in using Airmiles to do this and would gladly welcome any advice or paid service that could help me with this. I am looking to fly after 15th April and to return by 3rd May.
Thanks all in advance.

Is there a help desk for award logic? Are BA and VS flights not part of the service for Biz/First awards (like EF)?
