Purchase Experience with "solomobi" ???
 

Have been think of buying a Wi-Fi capable, dual sim, quad band phone from a Chinese company at solomobi.com. Want something for international travel only.

Wondering if anyone has any experience in dealing with this company?

Why would you?

Those are all cheap, knockoff phones. These mean you'll get crappy firmware, no support and run the risk of getting a broken phone.

That's exactly why I am inquiring......

Ah - ok. I've messed with quite a few of these phones, and despite the long list of awesome sounding features, they are generally crap. Bad build quality, poor batteries, poor reception etc...

And you can completely forget about customer support. Oh, they'll usually also be full of spelling mistakes in their firmware :)
