Ebay - registration issue
 

So... I tried to register on Ebay.....

For some strange reason, Im not getting the activation email. The domain is in Argentina.... its a [email protected].ar - is this to blame...?

Ive followed all the plan B steps as informed on the site... Ive had the email resent a couple of times... nothing. No, its not in my spam filter... checked there.

Ive even tried to "change the email address" as this is offered but Ebay will not let me....

Any ideas whats going on...?

Create a Gmail account and use that instead?

Yes Scotty.... I thought of that - I actually have a gmail account... but now my handle (the same one I have here) is "reserved"....

So... Sensei.... how do I solve that...???

I meant: change the handle on the account that is registered with a xxx.com.ar.

Then, try to register a an account using a Gmail address and the Gaucho100k handle.

Yes, but how can I access that account if I dont get the confirmaation email....??!

Strangely enough... this issue resolved itself on its own. I got an email yesterday asking me to confirm my registration. Perhaps the ebay admin site was down for some reason...? Cant get why it took almost 4 full days to get my my confirmation email, I thought that this was automatic once you completed the initial registration process.... (???)
