Which program did you download? I can't seem to even find the Blackberry program.

Its a little unclear about what you want exactly though what I think you are looking for is the Flight Alerts. FlightStats can set this up to you to have alerts sent to email or text message. They will send you notifications before the flight and whenever delay posts or pretty much whatever you want. You just enter the flight number once and sit back and wait. http://www.flightstats.com/go/Flight...tRuleCreate.do

fwiw, i use the mobile version of flight stats on my cell and it works just fine. i booked marked the "by flight number page" so all i do is plug in the carrier and flight number. this is a manual process so if you are looking for flight updates such as delays, upgrades clearing and etc, then you might want to look at setting up a text message feature with your airline (or if a member of their mileage program, and depending on the airline, you can set it up based on your profile [ua does it automatically for every flight that has your ff# in the reservation once you set up your "notification settings"])

I haven't tried the flightstats app yet, but I find worldmate live to be a great bberry app. All I have to do is email any flight bookings to a wmlive.com email address and it automatically sends me updates on status, gate changes, etc... You can also do the same with hotels. There is.a free version and also a subscription service with diff. options. It sounds like this may be a good option. It can also sync to your blackberry calendar if you select the option.

the faa wireless site has been a godsend. ^ especially once when i was iad waiting to board where i could see thunderstorms rolling in (with lightning) and there was the faa showing a ground stop for about 90 minutes. i went to the g/a and asked if she knew anything more as i looked like a mis-conx down the road and she replied with "what ground stop". i showed her my cell phone screen where she looked stunned only to get confirmation by her gate phone ringing 10 minutes later ;)

I have used tripchill.com for the same purpose for some time now. Very accurate. Even reports if flight is going to be delayed because it is still in route. At times the AA information at the airport is less accurate then the updates from tripchill!
