Uploading mp3 to my BB curve?
Major newbie question: I have songs on my iTunes that I want to upload to my BB Curve. Is there a relatively painless way to do this for a tech neophyte?
Thanks, Mike |
Are they actually MP3s or are the iTunes songs? Are they DRM-protected or are they some of the newer ones that are freely usable?
I'm pretty sure there is a plug-in for media management, including iTunes, in the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop Manager software, but iTunes may not actually be part of that. |
Don't waste your time with the media manager...just enable Mass Storage mode on your Blackberry, plug your Blackberry into the computer with USB, and drag MP3's and M4A files to the Music folder.
You will want to have a large microSD card in your Blackberry first. |
I just take out the SD card and plug it into the computer directly. Even faster.
There are the lingering Q's about format and DRM, though. |
Thanks all. Wow, I'm not really sure about a lot of the questions. It's mostly the traditional $.99 songs that I downloaded over the past few years.

Mike Your only option is to pay again, and upgrade them to iTunes "plus" music which strips the DRM off them. There are other ways, but that makes things even more complicated. |
