Cinema Plug-in for Archos
 
I was trying to play an mpg video on my Archos 504, and it gave me a warning that I need to buy the cinema plug-in from Archos.com

I went there, and they want 19.99 € for it

And Euros to top it all.

Is there an alternate way of playing these? Maybe a free plug in somewhere else?

I could convert the videos to AVI, but not if it's worth the hassle or effort.

It's one of the main criticisms of Archos products. People feel like they're being nickel and dimed after they buy the product.

Should change your settings to US, it'll then be $19.99 rather than Euros
