GPS Tracking Question

Is there a website available that let's users track themselves on the computer via GPS in their cell phones ? For example, I set up a group for all of us to join and we can log in and see where each other is at ?

http://www.google.com/mobile/default/latitude.html

With Google Latitude, you can:

* See where your friends are and what they are up to
* Quickly contact them with SMS, IM, or a phone call
* Control what your location is and who gets to see it

my understanding though, is that the constant updating of your location via your phone will incur data rates (unless you have an unlimited plan)?

I did something like this a couple of years ago, and working again on such a service.

Try http://www.locle.com
I licensed some of the technology to them.
