RAZR V9x web browsing disable
 

this is my new favorite place to ask these types of questions, so here goes :D

just brought my dad out of his time-warp and got him a cell phone for xmas. i know he didn't need this fancy of a phone as the first one, but he ended up with the motorola razr2 v9x. looks like a great phone so far, but he is already finding himself accidentally pushing buttons that end up going to things like the at&t browser and transfer data from the internet even though we didn't want that and he isn't signed up for a data plan.

my question is, is there some foolproof way to disable all the 'downloading' or 'browsing' features on these types of motorola phones so that at&t doesn't stick us with data charges when we don't want to be using them anyway?

Call AT&T and ask them to block all data transfers.
