D-Link Driver copy
 

Need a copy of D-Link Ethernet Cardbus PC card DFE-680TXD WIN98 driver.

If you have a copy that you can burn let me know. Thanks

Had a look on the Australian D-Link site - no go. But there are plenty of other drivers for similar models (eg the DFE-690TXD) which may work.

I checked and it's only the update or version 22200 which is to small and the wrong one. I need a copy from an original disk since D-Link no longer supports WIN98 version of this Card.

Do you know the version number, when it was released, or anything else about the driver?

Both versions on this site do not have the executable file since D-Link no longer supports WIN98. I need someone to burn a copy from an original disk for me to get the driver.

It sure looks like this is it. A lot of times the companies keep old files on their FTP server.

There's no "executable", you just unzip it to a folder, and when Win98 prompts you for a driver say you're going to pick one yourself and point it to that folder. The actual driver is the DFE680.INF and DFE680.SYS files.
