Mac VPN connection
I could use a bit of help here. I have a new Mac and would like to connect to my company's VPN.
We use a SonicWALL SSL-VPN firewall and I use a username and password in order to connect, via a piece of software called NetExtender. It appears I can also log in to perform some limited functions via a web browser. I cannot figure out how to do this via any Mac VPN client. Can anyone think of particular settings or clients I could try? Thanks. |
Where I work we use either Viscosity or Tunnelblick as our Mac VPN clients.
Part of the setup involved getting certs and keys from our IT guy, and then configuring a couple of files through the Terminal app. I'm no VPN or Terminal expert so I had to have someone walk me through the file editing process...I kept my notes in case I ever have to set it up again. |

There is a third party utility called VPN Tracker which works well with many corporate VPNs but you have to buy the utility. While spend money needlessly?
