Flight Tracker app for iPhone
 

Just got the new iPhone and I'm looking for good travel apps. I see both Flight Tracker and Flight Status on the app store. Any opinion of these?

do those folks have a flight tracking website as well as if so, then couldn't you book mark the pages in iphone's safari? i'm not too familiar with the i phone so that's why i'm asking :)

Seems like it will work just as well as buying an app and saves me a couple of bucks.

I am working on something that will be linked into a web version. Not sure on a completion date as it is a side hobby for me, but it will be on the App store free of charge when completed.

I'm guessing Mobimate will have an iPhone version of Worldmate ready soon :)

I used SplashData's password manager, shopping list manager, & travel software for Windows Mobile phone before I switched over to iPhone. Bought their SplashID and SplashShopper for iPhone so just bought Flight Tracker as well. Flight Tracker is definitely not as robust as SplashTravel for Palm or Win Mobile OS devices and haven't had a chance to really use it. Will update with info once I use it more.

It is definitely still in the works, we are figuring out a few issues regarding data storage and holding the lat/longs for world airports on the iPhone

Hello, does anyone know of a good Iphone application to track hotel points and airline miles? Hopefully an application that updates information automatically without the need to manually enter data. Sort of like the "My portfolio" application on the Bank of America website...

Thanks. they do indeed have a superb application. I like how it gets information about all my travel (hotel stays, flights etc.) and shows it on a single screen. Unfotunately, they don't offer American Airlines which I travel almost exclusively. Does anyone know of any other apps that do?

I use "flighttrack" app. For me it's worth a few bucks to hav a dedicated app to stay up to date. It's great for connecting flight info, gate changes, times, etc.
