Lightbulb Stats-o-rama and Facebook updates

Two chips off the old blog:

Stats-o-rama: Top 10 extended to 10/20/50, rank Top X by mileage instead of just flight count, country count and average flight added to Analyze

New features on Facebook: You can now opt to have your flights posted to Facebook on the day you fly, just enable it at http://apps.facebook.com/facebook

That's cool ^

What it's still lacking is a statistics banner as flightmemory has it.

The Facebook application is a sort of banner (for Facebook only), and we're working on an OpenSocial app for MySpace/Friendster/LinkedIn etc, but a standalone banner for your own blog etc would not be very hard to implement. Tell me what you'd like to see in a new ticket at SourceForge, and I'll see what I can do!

Yes, I really like the Facebook application but I'm additionally looking for a standalone banner like you mentioned. That would be really nice.
I created a new ticket concerning that.

Thumbs up Trains, planes and automobiles

Feature of the day: OpenFlights now supports land segments, so you can travel between cities (or, rather, airports) using trains, buses, ships and pretty much anything else you'd like to enter. Details in the blog:

http://openflights.org/blog/2009/03/...d-automobiles/

This was a fairly major update, so please let me know ASAP if something seems broken or awkward.

Is there a way to add an IATA code to a railway company (Amtrak = 2V)?

Added manually just now. Note: matching eg. "2V555" to "Amtrak" works only if you're selected "Flight", and you have to manually change it to "Train" afterwards.

I'll see if I can streamline this a bit, and I'd be grateful if somebody can point me to a list of non-airline IATA codes. Adding IATA train station codes is also on the to-do list.

I dont know, but does anyone else lose connection to the internet when using this site? I do all the time, usualy when i use the map... it really gets annoying if you have to wait 2 min each time for the internet to reconnect.

I just imported all of my flights from FM. Such an easier way to keep track of everything! Thanks jpatokal for all of your hard work.
