Wireless headsets?
Has anybody found decent wireless headsets? I'm just bored on cables getting tangled.
I'm looking for something I could use both with my laptop and my Nokia E90 (for MP3 listening). Being able to use the headset as a phone hands-free device would obviously be a plus. Stereo Bluetooth would make sense too - assuming there are working stereo Bluetooth drivers available for Windows XP? I'm thinking along devices like Nokia BH-601 or maybe Sennheiser MX W1 - any experiences, anybody? |
I hadn't thought about it before, but I guess wireless headsets would be banned from use on aircraft as they contain a transmitter. :(
Doesn't France also have some funny rules about using Bluetooth headsets in public places? |

I guess the same could be said for my wireless travel mouse and syncing my PDA phone in flight via Bluetooth, but I’ve yet to be called on it by a FA.

I bought a pair of jabra BT620s from an Apple store a couple years ago. Comes with an adapter to make your ipod wireless. Pairs with my treo at the same time. Can be listening to ipod and if a call comes in it pauses my ipod automatically and I can answer the call. Can also change songs etc via controls built into the headset.
I have been told that they aren't exactly within regulation for use while on an aircraft... |
Soyo makes one that has both functionalities, plus you look cool if you are seeking the "I am wearing blinking marshmallows in both ears" look.
