I wrote an app called NetStash it just became available in iTunes AppStore.
It lets you download web pages for reading later when you're in airplane-mode.
All of the site contents including linked articles and images. Nice alternative to buying magazines that, at least I, usually forget in the seat..
I hope someone will find it useful!

Looks like BBM is fully out on the app store (finally) for those that might find it handy.
