iPhone Slingplayer Now Works on 3G
Got the update notification from Apple this morning and tested it out. Worked as well as it had in the past on my old MotoQ phone... This is good news IMHO

Just got an email from the PageOnce folks announcing a new app called TripTracker. Like Personal Assistant (the main PageOnce app), it comes in free and $2.99 "Pro" flavors (not sure what Pro does differently--perhaps no ads and more-often refreshing).
I installed the free version but haven't really poked around it yet, but it looks promising, with the ability to monitor your itinerary for changes (something TripIt [free, anyway] doesn't do). Its key benefit is automatically adding and tracking any itinerary you book without forwarding a confirmation email--like in PageOnce, you give it your login details to your frequent traveler accounts (some might find that scary) and it will monitor those for changes. (As such, it should even be able to track ticket reissues that result in confirmation number changes--something even TripIt Pro probably can't do.)
Might be worth a look...reviews are mostly positive with some negatives I would expect to be addressed in future releases.

If anyone knows of a better way to get the flights in, I'd be very interested.

Airline Sched App?
Way back in the day, I had an app on a Windows Mobile device that was very handy. Unfortunately, I do not remember what it was called.
Before a trip you entered your origination and destination cities, along with any intermediate cities. It would pull up and store the schedules of all airlines for those city pairs, so if your flight were delayed or canceled you could see what options existed.
Is there something similar for the iPhone?

I have this app installed, but I haven't figured out how to get it to detect complex itineraries (when you go on multiple carriers) correctly. I purchased an itinerary on Expedia, and the only way I can get it to see this route is by giving it my TripIt info, which of course needs me to forward the Expedia confirmation email to TripIt.
If anyone knows of a better way to get the flights in, I'd be very interested.

What a great list of apps, I've started checking some of them out. Here is my contribution.
Sleep Cycle (It really does work)
Trip Tracker pro (worth the couple of bucks, plus it stores the data so you can retrieve it while offline)
Gate Guru
Traffic Rush (A free game that is great for wasting time)
Unblock (Another time waster game that's free)
Zippo lighter (useless but interesting)
Epic Fail (These pics crack me up)
Grocery Gadget (My wife has created a group, whoever adds something to the list, it syncs with the rest of the group)
I forgot to add Yelp to the list!

The Itunes app has just disappeared from my 32GB ipod touch. Just no longer there on the main apps page....any suggestions on how to get it back?

Did you by chance check "Restrictions" (under "General")? I did that when my kids were fooling around with the phone, but didn't realize it hid the apps.
