I'm on the Thalys now, going from Brussels to Paris at 320kph, and using WiFi to surf the net!!

ThalysNet is now installed on about 4 or 5 trains. It is using satellite so it drops out in the tunnels and certain areas with trees and other blocking objects, but they will soon fill that in with WiFi along the tracks. The performance is basically the same as the old Boeing Connexion used to work. Even Skype video calls work reasonably well!

A great leap forward for business travelers!!
