Where do you buy your cables from?

I would do a search if "dvi" was not too short.

I am curious where you all buy your cables, HDMI, DVI, etc from.
I have been looking on Amazon but wondered if any of you had any suggestions for places you have purchased previously where price was good, shipping was quick, etc. Or is Amazon the best bet?
Also any brands to stay away from, etc?

This is the first time I have needed to buy a cable... by itself.

www.newegg.com and www.cablestogo.com. Custom cables is really good; as they can make custom lengths, etc. for you.

Monster cables are a common 'high-end' brand, and are really nice. For the average consumer though, I don't know that they are worth the money and that you would notice the difference.

Cables2go and anybody on the deal of the day sites that have what I think I may need and is dumping them.

Occasionally you get some very good deals there, often times at monoprice (today they have a 15 foot Super VGA cable rated for in wall installation for $3.66 for example).

Monoprice again. Cables are a huge money maker - of course you just spent $3000 on a new HDTV, you don't want to ruin your picture by not buying this $90 six foot HDMI cable do you? I got a 15 foot at monoprice for under $6 and it shipped (at least was issued electronically to UPS) within an hour of placing the order online.

monoprice.com...although a bunch of posters already beat me to it. just placed another order last night actually. great prices on the cables and affordable, fast shipping. With the prices being so cheap I usually order more cables than I need, just to have a couple extras lying around. I get to look like a hero when a friend/family member is buying a television and they call me up from the store to ask me if they really need the $100 HDMI cable some retailer is trying to sell them. I tell them I have an extra one for them if they want it. ;)

Always with Monoprice. Nobody comes closer to their prices and speed of shipping. Their shipping charges are also pretty reasonable, even if you need 2 day.
