Any Powermonkey users?
 

I'm considering getting a powermonkey for my phone and Ipod. I hate having to have my laptop on to charge them so it seems the powermonkey will be a nice alternative when moving about or on a plane. Any reviews? Do the times listed for charge hold up? Does the devices battery last after multiple charges?

A bit late, I know ;) but I have just bought one ..... I love it ! Haven't used it enough to totally validate what you are asking, but I use it for a nokia, blackberry and iPod Touch, and really love it ...

Seems to do what it says on the tin ... ^

How many hours are you getting off of this on your Touch for video?

Unfortunately I haven't used the monkey to exhaustion yet - I usually just use it to top-up my phone and charge (no while using) my Touch ...

I will have a good chance to give it a good try-out on Fri/Sat this week when I am travelling, but will likely not be solely using it while watching the iPod.

I do believe that it's one of the best options out there, based on my (so-far) limited experience though ..

Thanks. I'm doing some extensive flying for the next couple of months so I think that I will pick one up. I've taken to loading up my Touch lately instead of watching videos on my 17" MBP but am only getting about 4-5 hours on my Touch. This looks like a nice way to address that. Thanks for the info!

JAP/Jhoc - Thanks for bringing this gadget to my attention. Mine was delivered 3 hours ago. Just in time for my DCA-STL-LAX-SFO-DFW-DEN route starting tomorrow morning for a meeting in Denver. I'm looking forward to not having to worry about iPod power. ^
