Cell Phone with Notes or Todo List?

I'm looking to spend around $100-$150 (new or used) for a cellphone that has a easy to use notes or to-do list application. I'm always inputting action items into my phone. Things like shopping lists, or people I need to e-mail, etc. I don't need to be able to use the internet because I don't plan on paying for any data service.

I'm using a basic Nokia 6030 right now and it is just not cutting it. I take forever to input stuff and the screen is too small to be practical.

Should I look for something with a dedicated keyboard?
Should I look for a smartphone that runs on Symbian S60 or something?

Thanks in advance!

In your price-range I would look at a smart phone anyway. As data prices go down you may be interested in a data package on down the road. A full QWERTY keyboard makes data-entry much easier as well.

Who is your service provider?

Are you currently under contract?

I'm currently with Cingular, so I'd be cool with any GSM phone. I'm not in a contract, but month to month.

I don't know if Cingular carries it, but the Motorola Razr phone has a notepad function. Of course, you have to use a numeric keypad to enter the information, but it's got a decent enough screen for notes.

Check out att/cingular's refurbished deals. They are online-only and require a contract/extension but offer some great deals. Blackberry Pearl for $30, Blackberry Curve for $30, Samsung BlackJack for $100, Treo 680 for $80, and they used to have the Treo 750 for $100 which was a steal.

I just picked up a SonyEricsson K550i for my son. It seems to be a nice quad band GSM phone with notes/to-do.
