Battery Memory in a Blackberry?

Had an odd one happen today. I've been using the same battery in my Blackberry since July (with recharges every day) and replaced with my secondary battery when it ran out of juice today. I didn't have any e-mails in my inbox when I removed the battery, but a months worth of e-mails from July (last time I used the secondary battery) appeared when I replaced with my secondary battery. Does the battery contain any memory or am I being haunted by old e-mail?

Not that I know of...have you posed that question to any of the BB forums (blackberryforums.com, etc.)?

Without a question 100% no.

I have found sometimes that after arriving in a new city, my BB requires a hard reset (removing the batter) in order to start receiving emails again. I've always assumed that's network related. Emails from July is an odd one, though.
