Best forums for networking, setting up servers

Hi,
I was wondering what would be the best forums for computer/networking stuff? I am thinking of doing a DIY NAS and backup server and am wondering what is the best place to post, look.

Many thanks!

http://forum.openwrt.org/ ??? Depends on whether you want to do this in Linux or Windows, etc, etc.

Windows or Linux is some of the question I have, but also a bit about the server built hardware, so I guess hardware and software.

Thx!

For NAS I'd recommend FreeNas which is a BSD based server www.freenas.org. If you have an old computer laying around you can run FreeNas from a CD with the settings saved on a floppy.

This isn't even shameless anymore... I so rarely ever update this site that the advice is effectively worth what it costs (nothing)...nevertheless, here's a post on FreeNAS

Ubunutu Linux has one of the most active communities out there - good place for all kinds of info.

IRC, particularly the FreeNode network has tons of "channels" (IE Chat rooms) for anything technical related (#networking , #hardware, #linuxhelp, #windows...)

And of course, you can always ask here! I'm always impressed with how knowledgeable our little FT community is.
