Blackberry scroll wheen/keypad lock issue

Ok, so my BB (8700) got an upgrade today. Now it looks like a Curve on the interface/home screen. So I had to reset my hot keys and such...no problem. Then I go to unlock the keypad awhile later and it will no longer let me punch in the scroll wheel twice to unlock it. Now it makes me use the * plus green "call" button. How the h-double hockey sticks do I fix this b/c it is bugging the crap out of me! :)

AHHH I was using my friend's 8800 tonight and that was bugging the crap out of me too, I'd also like to know how to fix this.

After I upgraded my BB 8700, I also lost the "double click" unlock feature. I searched all over Blackberry forums and found that the upgrade doesn't allow the shortcut to unlock the keypad now. Grrrr..

If someone can figure out something to make the shortcut work again it would be great!

TF

There is no way to change it. That's the way it is with OS 4.2.x.x. Sorry for the bad news.

That's dumb. Grrrrr...

Maybe. My understanding is that it has something to do with the 4.2 OS being designed for the newer Blackberrys that don't have the wheel.
