iTunes question - newbie user
Yesterday, I purchased a used iPod from a co-worker. I got the postage-stamp sized 1GB Shuffle for $20. As I recently lost my beautiful mp3 player, I figured this would be a sufficient substitute until I could afford a fancy one again.
Anyway, this is my first foray into using iTunes. I have downloaded the software and it identified my mp3 files on the hard drive. Two questions.... 1. I like some of the music already loaded on to the iPod. Is there any way to import that into my own iTunes library? I just can't seem to figure it out. 2. All of my files are traditional mp3. Can I put them on to the iPod? |
You need to download a third party app to get songs off your iPod. Its one of the real PITA limitations. Try here for Win and Mac options.
As for your files, yup, MP3 is good. You wont be able to import WMA files though (Windows own format). Just import them into iTunes and sync. |
1. Try http://ephpod.com (the interface sucks though).
2. Yes. :) 3. Good luck. 4. See the above... ;) |
