Bose Ear Bud headphones

Wondering if anyone have used or heard of news (good or bad) about these Bose in-ear headphones.

I'm not looking for a reproduction of QC2s, but wondering if it's worth it.

no, but in my experience everything Bose makes is way overpriced. They have to protect their price all the time. I have a Wave Music System, and while it is a great radio, is ought to be for $500!! For ear buds, there are great ones available for under the Bose price of 100.00. I have Shure E2C and paid something like 65.00 for them online. They have all the fidelity my ears can detect, and seal out noise pretty well, too. For about 35.00, you can try Sony EXD-51 (shorter cord) or EXD-71 (longer, split cord). These are excellent earbuds, especially for the price. Save your money and only buy Bose stuff that is patented--their commodity stuff (TriPort phones) are WAY overrated and over priced.
