Dvd audio to cd?

Sorry if this has been brought up before....I couldn't bring anything up from a search. If you have...say a concert dvd, is there anyway to rip the audio so you can burn it on a cd or put it on a mp3 player? Thanks.

If your MP3 player supports one or more video compression codecs [MPEG 1, 2, 4, DIVIX, etc.] then yes.

Of course you will still be transfering video [with audio] and not audio alone, but you will be able to hear all of the music.

There are a number of programs that can do this but, unfortunately, the ones that I know are audio editing programs, e.g. Adobe Audition, and rather expensive.

For my live dvd's and internet radio I use roxio to record it. It goes for around $100 and well worth it in my opinion. One more option is you can search download.com and see what you find!
