What travel software on your laptop?

I was wondering what software do you have on your laptop to make traveling easier? like any hotspot lists, or a way to keep contact at home easier?
Right now I got
Trillian - for instant messaging
Skype - to call
a 3g/EDGE data card for internet
Star alliance time tables
besides such as outlook, word, power point....

cordelli:

How do you get a mirror of seatguru (or any other webpage) to your laptop?
I am aware, that I can access a webpage off-line when I accessed it before on-line ... but it's gone after I clean my PC ...
Thanks ....

not really necessary

Having a mirror of the site, which is pretty easy to do. Just set it up for offline viewing, and do about 10 pages deep. but, that isn't IMHO the easiest to do.

I simply downloaded the plan configurations graphics for the airlines I fly the most often, and I have the graphics on my treo and blackberry for quick at the counter access.

Just open up the plane seatmaps, and right click on the graphic, and download to one folder. Then, put that folder wherever you want.

You'll have to update it when things change, but that doesn't take long.

If you want to do the download and update for offline viewing, that will update as often as you reconnect to the net and if you have it setup to do so.
