What SIM

I was considering getting the 09 mobile, but the lack of features didn't convince me.
I was browsing national prepaid companies and I came across 3 Australia

Just a quick background
I need a SIM in Australia in July. 3G is preferred so I can use my TYTN and check emails, etc and hook it up to the laptop. That would be honestly the most convenient option. Plus I can use Skype to call home or people call me.
I would also like to use it internationally. UK is also preferred, as hotel fees in London are extremely high, and I just check my email and FT.
Germany would also be a option, as I connect and LH lounge isn't cheap, but it doesn't look affordable with 3 either. I can always roam on my Polish data card.
In Feb I would also want to roam in New Zealand. If possible also with 3G.

Seems that 3 would suit me well.
I currently use Virgin Mobile in UK for calls, cheap to call the USA, but service wise, I'm not sure on their 3G data fees.

Australia - Roam, call USA, using internet (full)
UK - same as Australia
Germany -internet (if possible)
New Zealand - Same as Australia

Grr. Seems that the 3 feature is only for contract customers. And the prepaid UK version doesn't have Australia.
Well seems 3G roaming in UK would be 3 UK
3G roaming in Australia would be 3 Australia or Telstra.
telstra seems to offer a good package with an option of adding packages to the prepay service. I can pay 29AUD for 70mb to use in 30days. Too bad they don't offer a good roaming package in UK.
Any thoughts?
