Are you tied to SIP. IAX (Asterisk's native protocol) has better support for traversing firewalls/NAT routers and its easier to setup. I only ask b/c I like There is a good list here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+IAX+clients I am partial to Idefisk (worst name ever to try and remember) http://www.asteriskguru.com/idefisk/ ... even used it on an SAS flight to make calls once :) If you really want SIP, the defacto is X-Lite which I hate too much to even link to...its riddled with problems. Here's a list of others: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-VOIP+P...honesvoiceonly |
I don't care what the protocol is. I just want to connect to my Asterisk box from my laptop PC when I'm out of the US.
