Converter recommendations

I will be spending a month in Germany and just wanted to find out if you guys have any suggestions on a good electrical converter. My main source of use will be to charge my laptop battery, so I really need something that doesn't run the risk of frying my computer. Thanks!

Your power supply probably already supports the voltage there, check and see. If it does, all you need is a $2 adapter from Radio Shack or just about anyplace else.

If it says something like 120-240 volts 50-60 Hz you don't need anything else, just an adapter to get your plug to fit their sockets.

you should clarify if you want an adapter (just changes the plug shape, your laptop power supply, shaver, etc. can handle other voltages) or a converter (changes the voltage, rarer).

I bought this model after seeing a friend use it. It's great, has all the plugs for every country, and retractable design is compact and convenient. No bits and pieces to misplace or lose either. This site seems to have about the best price you can get:
