Permanantly turn off "Reading Layout"?
I can't stand opening a MS Word file from someone and having it open in the "Reading Layout" format. I know where the close button is int he tool bar but I want to never see the reading layout again. I have looked and can't find how to turn it off permanently.
How do I turn it off?? |
Here's a link-
http://malektips.com/word_2003_0005.html -that says to do the following: 1. Click the "Tools" menu and choose "Options". 2. When the "Options" multi-tabbed dialog box appears, click "General". 3. Uncheck "Allow starting in Reading Layout". 4. Click "OK" to close the dialog box. |
Our number one question in the office to be sure
