One of the more amusing ones I had seen was "f*ckoff.net" (quite obviously I've edited this; the actual name was far less work-safe ).

My old roommate and I set ours up with the name "b!itch" (edited; and yes, we were quite drunk when we set it up). A few months later, one of our neighbors was hosting an intern for a few months and we became friends with her. One night she was over at our place and mentioned that she'd been stealing someone's wi-fi -- "and the network is named 'b!tch!' Who names their network that??" she said. We had a good laugh.

Correct. And here's the music video to it...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cD3lPGcvtpE

The text is an ode to Russia in general and Moscow in particular. Can't remember if it's late Seventies or early Eighties though. Somewhere around there.

And here's the text:

http://www.dschinghis-khan.de/texte/text_moskau.htm

Apparently, they even did an English version:

In Saudi Arabia you will often find SSID's with telephone numbers. Guys and girls want you to call them to flirt! You have to establish first contact somehow!

Haha. I love it! What do you tell your folks when they ask how you met?

I've finally been able to access "Beerpong" here in my apt. I use it sometimes when my internet goes out.
