No crashes here. Didn't even realize that FF crashed... :o

Firefox2.0 works better than IE7 for me. One problem I found: Firefox doesn't display the www.usairways.com site properly -- all the fonts are too large (probably just a setting somewhere)...

I would think the problem is with the site.. not FF. :)

I've been pretty pleased with FF2 performance, haven't had it hang on me yet whilst running it on XP. I quite like the updated interface and speed compared to IE7. The only reason IE is still on my computer is Windows Update.

IE7 displays the site properly though... but granted, usairways.com has been in "constantly improving" mode for a while now due to the merger...

Mine crashes frequently -- so much so I am still on 1.5 on one of my two Windows machines. I'll clear the extensions, though, and see if that helps.

Because MS tends to depart from the standards very often.. and if the
site was made using MS tools.. without checking the compliance with
the W3 standards, the site could look different on other browsers.. but
look okay on IE.

Its USAir's job to make sure the site works well with all browsers.

No crashes for me since very early alpha on Windows, Mac or Linux.

Having just gone to YouTube and viewed a video using an Intel iMac, I can tell you that the problem is not your Mac.

I actually have fewer (read: none) crashed in 2.0, whereas I'd get the occasional crash in 1.5.x. On wintel.

FF 2.0 is very stable for me under WinXP. I have a dual CPU PC, and 1.5 was prone to frequent crashes unless it was bound to one CPU.

I haven't had crashes, but, OTOH, there are definitely things I'm not thrilled about in FF 2.0 (like on FT, if I hover over a partial/abbreviated topic, it pops up what the entire text is).

If you are happy with FF1.5, I'd strongly advise just using it for now.

If you have issues with some sites you visit, then give upgrading a try.

Crashes somewhat frequentlyif I have a lot of tabs open. Then again, the XP system only has 128MB RAM available (MIN/MAX).

Doesn't crash but very slow on a G3 iMac OS 10.4.

I've been noticing an occasional problem with FF 2.0 where the first browser window I open will always be on top. If I click on a link that opens another browser window, I cannot bring the second window to the front. If I minimize the first window then maximize it, I can bring other windows in front of it.

Try new pages should be opened in a new tab in preferences and see if that helps.
