Bluetooth Mouse
 

Any recommendations for a bluetooth mouse for a every week heavy traveler?

Its got to work with Mac and Windows

Its got to be normal size (not the huge desktop ones, but also not the tiny tiny ones just for travel since I will be working with it 8 hours a day)

I've got a IBM X41 with builtin bluetooth and an Apple iBook.

I don't really care if it charges via usb or has a little battery.

oh...and of course two buttons :)

I'm looking for the same thing myself. Targus have a couple that are interesting.

I have been using the STOWAWAY BLUETOOTH MOUSE from iGo (formerly ThinkOutside) for abt. 2 years now and am very pleased with it. I use it with my X40 (which has BT built-in, like your X41), and with myPocket PC. The website (http://www.thinkoutside.com/btmouse_product.html) says it's MAC compatible too.

I have the Microsoft Optical Desktop Elite for Bluetooth.

I travel with the mouse but leave the keyboard at home.... so far no complaints!

I like my Logitech. Should work with your IBM or Mac. I like that it uses two AA batteries, so I don't have to deal with ANOTHER charger.

Not exactly what you are looking for, because it's definitely not "normal size". But I think it's worth mentioning in this post: I have the MoGo mouse for abt. a week now and must say it's a wonderful piece of technology. Works great with my Thinkpad X40 which has Bluetooth built in. I was surprised by the great build quality for something this small. Fits inside the PCMCIA slot, where it's battery gets recharged. One less item to pack in my carry bag ^ And if ever they come up with a version that has a scroll wheel function I'll buy it right away, because that's the only thing missing on the Mogo. Have you had a look at mighty mouse from apple. Runs off one oer two batteries, scrolls sideways as well (great when working with big excel files or large images) works with mac and PC.

It's a multibutton mouse.

Are you sure the cordeless MM works on a PC?

I had assumed so, but Apple's specs say differently:

The wired version works with Windows, the wireless one does not.

Uh, oh. I stand corrected. I assumed they did as my usb version works with both.
