Replacement for Pentax Optio S

It's a one of the ultra-compact digital cameras...I've had it for several years now and it's getting tired.
Interested in opinions of cameras of the same class.
Minimum needs:
* optical (not digital) zoom
* optical & digital view finder
I'm not a mega-pixel-oholic The pentax was 2mp and was fine for me.

I use a Panasonic TZ1. A bit bigger than the optio S (but not by much):

- 10x optical zoom (the smallest camera available with a 10x zoom I believe);
- optical image stablisier that works (I'm yet to ave a blurry shot, even at maximum zoom);
- 5 MP

It really has been a fantastic camera for me so far. The quality of the Leica lens is very good and I ca honestly say I've not yet had a bad shot.

go for a panasonic lumix - very robust and good pictures. i'm surprised your optio lasted for so many years. i went through 2 within 12 months and was 'most disappointed' with Pentax... wouldn't recommend them to anyone, anytime, any reason.

i'd say go with Canon. they are excellent in the digital world.

If you like manual features, pick something like A610/A620
for something slick, pick SD series.
