Is there a way to change my default e-mail program from Outlook Express to Outlook and transfer over the current contents of my Express Inbox and Outbox into Outlook.

Set program access and defaults (from the start menu) lets you change your default email program.

For importing from OE to O No, somebody else will have to help. (have you tried anything yet? It might be simple, it might be in 'help', etc.)

making it the default

Make Outlook the default program for E-mail, Contacts, and Calendar
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click Other.
Under General, select the Make Outlook the default program for E-mail, Contacts, and Calendar check box.


Importing mail and settings - File, import export, import internet mail

In OE...

File -> Export -> Messages... -> Click OK

Done!

Be warned, this will export all e-mails from OE to the default PST file in Outlook.
