Wireless Mouse recommendations

I hate the remote for my projector and someone suggested a small, wireless mouse would work better. Any recommendations for one that isn't gigantic and has decent range?

I'm a real big fan of the Microsoft Wireless Optical Notebook Mouse. I've had two (I trashed the first one), and have never replaced the battery in the thing. It fits in the palm of my hand and is genreally slick the way they package it.

I can't speak for the later generations of it, but they do still sell the original one. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mobility.mspx See the third item. I'm not sure what store price for these is, though I doubt its more than 30-40 bucks.

I'm also very happy with the MS Notebook wireless mouse, but be aware that its range is 3-5 feet. Fine for laptop work at a desk, but you sound like you need something with longer range - bluetooth, perhaps?

I use the ThinkOutside Bluetooth mouse for my Thinkpad X40 which has a built-in Bluetooth radio. It isn't gigantic and has excellent range. (Just tried it from the other end of the room in which I am now. 30ft and still OK). Bonus: this mouse also work with Pocket PC.

Try the Gyration wireless mouse. Has a range of up to 30feet and great design. Best thing is that I can use it in the air away from any surface and that helps with the inflamation of the wrist. Has a rechargeable battery and its durable. Got it a Circuit City cann't remember the price though.

I've been using this model for about a year now - it's excellent. Great range, great battery life (lasted a entire year) and it's just the right size. Highly recommended.

Speak of the devil! I just ordered this item from Amazon, as I need a powerpoint remote, and this seemed the highest rated at this price-point!!
