Does anyone know of a (ideally free) tool which works globally?

I believe American Express Flight Tracker works globally. It only works if a flight is currently in the air, however (subject to a ~15min delay). I don't think it stores the data afterwards like flightaware. And it doesn't have nearly the detail of the google maps trackers or flightaware.

i did a search and couldn't find this and rather than start a new thread, where it uses googlemaps, i figured i'd add it here.
