After computer crash, ALL Firefox bookmarks gone. Help!

After my computer locked up and I had to re-start it with the power switch, ALL of my Firefox bookmarks are gone! There is nothing under the bookmarks tab.

Are they somewhere still? Please, I hope?

Firefox 1.5.0.1

Thanks!

And I love you :)

But the process described there didn't work.

For some reason I have two "profiles" sub-folders. Some of the prior bookmarks are in one of the profiles, and none are in the other.

I wish I'd never "up"graded to 1.5 :(

Thanks. I did that. But a bunch of the newer ones are now gone forever apparently.

No problem. I'll email you that profile of "Teens in Lederhosen" links again, and you should be back in business!

;)

I had this problem a few years ago, so I no longer use bookmarks at all, HOWEVER I do maintain my Bookmark Page so that wherever I am, I can access what I need.

Most browsers let you export your favourites/bookmarks into a HTML file so it's just a case of uploading it.
