Samsung MM-A800 takes the best photos of any handset in North America.

2MP CCD 2x auto-focus macro camera.

Hardly...

The Nokia N90 with its Zeiss optics is considered better. Remember; the Samsung is already over a year old, in the past year camera chips have improved a lot.

The camera quality is as close as it gets to that of a regular camera.

K750 is very good phone. W800 is another version this phone (has more memory to store MP3). ^

But it's only 2mp. You can get better than that with optical zoom. Granted not in NA, but I wouldn't think that is much of a limitation, at least not around here.

I saw in a Hong Kong magazine that Lenovo came up with a new 4MP camera phone. Is this the first one or are there some on offer in the market today already?

The K750i and the W800 are exactly the same electronics with a different case and different firmware. The 'extra memory' issue is just that it comes with a larger MemoryStick Duo card in the box. Oh, and a different headset, but again that's something you can purchase as an accessory.

You can actually flash a K750i with the firmware from a W800, if you know what you're doing (for example, if you want the better media player from the W800 but don't like the vile orange/cream styling).

Another vote for the K750i from here.
