Help! Windows Installer error message on laptop
 

On my Sony laptop am getting "can't find Patch 1.0.1.msp" browse and look for it, etc. Don't know where it came from but it comes up every time I reboot and makes it difficult to shut down. Does anyone know how to fix this annoying problem? Thanks :confused:

Try doing a System Restore from a restore point prior to the first time you got that message.

thanks, I should have mentioned that i did try system restore but didn't work.
