Free Microsoft Project Viewer
I think I asked this many moons ago, but the search didn't yield any results ;)
I was wondering if there is a free MS Project Viewer that you would recommend. Google just shows all kind of software that you need to purchase, either buy another program (cheaper than MS Project) and convert the files to it. Any suggestions? Thanks :) |
If you email me, Jesus, I can offer you a free copy of MS Project Professional '03.
Just promise that it doesn't end up over on Ebay! ;) Mark |
You have email :)^^
Mighty generous of you, and I promise I won't sell it on ebay ;) |
But more importantly "Is there a free" MS Project viewing tool.
I regularly send Gantt charts to clients and if I could just send a locked down copy of the project file and a link to a free viewer that would be really helpful....but does it exist? |
AFAIK there is NO free viewer, there is Steelray and projectviewer, each costing around $30.
Micrososfts "official" POV is that Project lets you save the files as HTML, so your clients can view them on the web... Which of course is kind of bogus.... If you have files smaller than 400k, then try the projectviewer demo: http://www.projectviewercentral.com/...ewer/demo.html |
jfe...if you use MS project I need to remove some IQ points.
Worst scheduling software. :td: |

Worst scheduling software. :td: I hate the piece of software, it's just as bad as quicken, takes more time to enter and maintain the data in there for what you get. So, there, my IQ is still intact, in the low 200's :p |
