BlackBerry access to FlyerTalk

Can I get access to Flyertalk using a blackberry?

Yes, works just fine though of course it is pretty slow.

If you are running a fairly recent version of the OS then make sure you disable things like CSS and scripts.

Call me incompetent, but how does one do this?

Not incompetent at all, a very valid question;

Go to your Blackberry browser, click the trackwheel and select "options", then pick "browser configuration".

You'll want to disable the following:

Use Foreground and background colors
Use background images
Support embedded media
Support Javascript
Support Style Sheets

then click the trackwheel and save the changes.

Did you head there with your Blackberry?

It doesn't work with your regular browser. And to be honest, it doesn't always work well on the Blackberry either...

The regular site doesn't work with a regular browser, so what should we expect.

Bingo.

I don't think I've ever managed to get their wapsite to work without anything lower than 10 errors...

Craig6z Nov 7, 2005 8:46 pm

The UA site worked reasonably well on my 7290, until about a month ago. Since then, error city.

chuckd Nov 7, 2005 9:48 pm

I can never get the my iteneraries page to work with either. united is a site I avoid with the BB.

UAalltheway Nov 7, 2005 9:50 pm

I have the Motorola RAZR. The "My Itinierarys" part has never worked for me. But usually the rest of the site would work until a few weeks ago (around a month now, I guess) when it started just being blank, than "redirecting" to a new site that wasn't WAP-enabled so I wasn't able to access it.
