In buying music from RIAA companies like BMG/Sony, you're supporting the lawsuits that destroy low income families when grandmas, people on fixed income and low income earners get sued by companies that they have no hope to defend themselves from. Buy independant music and boycott the labels. They are what is wrong with music today anyways.
ps. Anyone who listens to Switchfoot deserves a rootkit :D |

ps. Anyone who listens to Switchfoot deserves a rootkit :D That's a noble positon, but sometimes the music ya gotta have comes from RIAA sources. |
You probably just haven't heard the independant music. In any case, if you insist on doing this, look for the actual CD logo. Those albums that are printed onto optical media but go away from the white paper standard for CD can't be marked with a CD logo. You should never buy any music ever that has any copy protection on it. If you do, then you're supporting this sort of thing. The industry will respond responsibly if people act in ways that hit their bottom line.
