every time i try and get a ring tone for my cell phone by doing a google search for free ring tones i find sites that offer 1 free ring tone when you sign up for their service.

does any one know a site where i can get a free ring tone with out having to pay for a membership?

Does this mean no one has created software to rip songs off cds or iPods to create ringtones?

There are lots of sites out there that tell you how to create your own ringtones.

Main things is to convert then to QCP files.

I think this is more appropriate for Travel Technology.

just search for midi files, or if your phone supports them, just transfer mp3s.

.mid is the file extension, then just use the SW that came with your phone to transfer them to it.
